The final shoot for this androgynous project was with Dino, a model who I had wanted to work with for a while and luckily managed to shoot him for this project. His feminine aesthetics work beautifully with the theme, I wanted to capture genderless shots, however I wanted to create more varied images to add more versatility to my book and some black and white to help the book flow nicely from the transition from warm to cold. The bottom black and white shots are definitely the more masculine, with the feminine features. It looks almost drag like. The warmer shots also work perfectly and portray a very authentic and relaxed vibe

The day was very dull, however with fill in flash I managed out how to catch the sort of lighting I hoped for, delicate with merciless shadows. I helped the model style herself as manly as possible, it was ironic what amount of cosmetics it took to look manly. I wanted to get a tight crop to show the detail to allow the audience to see how genderless the model had ended up after styling. Gelled back hair, contouring, thick eyebrows and obscuring of around the eyes helped make this androgynous look, a long with the leather jacket and white top, to accomplish the sort of style I wanted.

She had received a great amount of negative criticism being accused of previously being a man. Soon after that she harnessed the negative energy and turned it into something positive.
